Day 1 : (Leh) Leh Arrival
Meal: dinner
After arrival at Leh Airport, you would be transferred to hotel for check-in. Today you are free for leisure & acclimatization. This way you can explore the Leh town and also become familiar with the high altitude climate. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 2 : (Khardungla Pass) Khardungla Pass – Leh
Meal: breakfast and dinner
Today after breakfast, you would be drinven to Khardung-la, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. The views from the top of the pass are amazing and feels like being on the top of the world. Return to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure for shopping in local market. Overnight at hotel.
(If you are comfortable, you can visit Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa **at extra cost)
Day 3 : ( Pangong Lake) Leh – Pangong Lake
Meal: breakfast and dinner
Today after breakfast, check out from the Hotel & drive to Pangong Lake, east to the Leh after crossing Changla Pass (17500ft) and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh and perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. At evening enjoy the breathtaking view of Pangong Lake. Overnight at the Camp at Pangong Lake.
Day 4 : (Leh) Pangong Lake – Leh
Meal: breakfast and dinner
Today after breakfast, check out from the camp at Pangong Lake & drive to Leh to check into the hotel. On the way visit Hemis, Shey and Thiksey monasteries. Evening free for leisure & own activities. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 5 : ( Leh) Depart Leh
Meal: breakfast
After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel & you would be transferred to Leh Airport. Your memorable tour to the land of dragon concludes here.
Another option is to go to Nubra valley on Day 02 and stay there overnight. On Day 03, you can come to Pangong Lake via Shyok and then come back to Leh on Day 04. (Subject to the opening of Nubra-Pangong road via Shyok).
